Membership in AHAD-AP is open to all healthcare professionals in the Asia Pacific region who are working and interested in haemophilia and allied disorders.

Membership Categories

  • A physician who demonstrates an active interest in the discipline of haemophilia and allied disorders for more than 3 years.
  • Part of a HTC or an organization involved in haemophilia care.
  • Not being a full-time employee of a pharmaceutical company.

  • A person who is a registered or a recognized non-physician health professional namely nurse, physiotherapist, psychologist, social worker, laboratory scientist or technician.
  • Demonstrates an active interest in the discipline of haemophilia and allied disorders for more than 3 years.
  • Part of an HTC or an organization involved in haemophilia care.
  • Not being a full-time employee of a pharmaceutical company.

  • A student, a trainee, or a post-doctoral fellow or/and those with less than 3 years of involvement with haemophilia and allied disorders.
  • Demonstrates an active interest in the discipline of haemophilia and allied disorders.
  • Part of an HTC or an organization involved in haemophilia care and such person not being a full-time employee of a pharmaceutical company.

  • Persons who have made exceptional contributions to the field of haemophilia and allied disorders and not restricted to working in the Asia Pacific region.

  • Membership is for one year from January to December.

Admission to Ordinary, Allied Health Professional and Associate Membership

1. Any applicant for Ordinary, Allied Health Professional or Associate membership must fill the prescribed form by clicking the form below. 

2. Allied Health Professional and Associate Membership applicants must provide an official letter certifying that the applicant is employed as an allied health professional in the institution OR is a student, a trainee, or a post-doctoral fellow or/and those with less than 3 years of involvement with haemophilia and allied disorders.

3. All submission is subjected to an internal review and approval by AHAD-AP. AHAD-AP may refuse any application for membership in case it does not fulfill the eligibility criteria and the decision shall be final.

4. Ordinary, Allied Health Professional Members and Associate Members shall pay the amount of membership subscriptions only after confirmation of eligibility by AHAD-AP.
