Participation in the 14th China Rare Disease Summit, Wuhan (September 19–21)
Dr. Tien Sim Leng from Singapore General Hospital represented AHAD-AP at the 14th China Rare Disease Summit held in Wuhan from September 19–21. He participated as a panelist in the International Haemophilia Session during a roundtable discussion alongside other experts. Dr. Tien shared insights on the comprehensive care of haemophilia in Singapore, covering aspects of diagnosis, treatment, and highlighting some of the unmet needs in current clinical practice. The session generated a lively exchange of ideas and enthusiastic participation from the audience.
In addition, Dr. Tien joined other Asian delegates in a roundtable discussion on the development of gene therapy, where participants shared experiences and updates from their respective regions.
