AHAD-AP organised a two-day Musculoskeletal Management of Haemophilia (MSK) Workshop on 12th and 13th of September, at National Taiwan University Hospital International Conference Center, Taipei in collaboration with Taiwan Society of Thrombosis and Haemostasis.

The objective for the workshop was to strengthen and broaden knowledge and skills on the assessment and management of MSK complications in haemophilia. The target audiences were Physiatrist, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist and Orthopaedic surgeon involved in the care of haemophilia from across the Asia Pacific region.

Workshop Framework

The framework of the MSK workshop was designed based on the feedbacks received during the previous workshops and an advanced module fulfilling the objectives.

The workshop was attended by 17 healthcare professionals representing 10 Countries/Regions/Territories across the Asia-Pacific. The participants comprised a multidisciplinary group, including orthopaedic surgeons, physiotherapists, physiatrists, and physicians/paediatricians/haematologists.
