DESCRIPTION:Virtual Workshop\nComprehensive Care of Haemophilia (Basic)\n12th & 19th March 2022 \nThe Association for Haemophilia and Allied Disorders-Asia Pacific (AHAD-AP) is delighted to welcome you to the Comprehensive Care of Haemophilia (Basic) Virtual Workshop on the 12th and 19th of March 2022 with focus on the first day (12th March) to include nursing and the second (19th March) musculoskeletal management of haemophilia. \nThe Comprehensive Care training program for Haemophilia has brought together multi-disciplinary health professionals from the Asia Pacific region\, to share experiences\, learn together and develop skills in the care of Persons with Haemophilia (PWH). \nAt this time when many continue to fight the COVID 19 pandemic\, we have chosen to conduct the workshop on a virtual platform. \nAlthough this limits our direct interactions\, we shall explore different opportunities to share\, teach and learn. There will be opportunity for interactive discussion with participants attending in real-time and faculty support provided online for those who subsequently stream the sessions. \nOur aim in organizing the workshop is to strengthen and broaden knowledge and skills in diagnosis\, assessment and planning care for people with haemophilia (PWH) by a comprehensive care team. The target audience are the clinicians\, nurses and allied health care professionals involved in the care of haemophilia from across the Asia Pacific regions and countries. \nIn response to recent feedback on our virtual meetings\, we have planned short “sharp” sessions with emphasis on core principles of haemophilia management and opportunity for discussion. We shall provide two sets of workshops\, Basic and Advanced in 2022. \nThe basic set of workshops will be held on 12th and 19th March 2022\, followed by the advanced set of workshop in the third quarter of the year. \nThe topics included in the basic set of workshop are:\n\n\n\nDay 1: Week 1: Saturday\, 12th March 2022\nDay 2: Week 2: Saturday\, 19th March 2022\n\n\nWFH Guidelines 2020: Relevance to Asia Pacific region\nRehabilitation principles in haemophilia\n\n\nModels of Comprehensive Care\, \nroles of clinicians\, nurses\, institutions\, governments and patients\nPhysiotherapy management – Joint synovitis and arthropathy\n\n\nReflection on nursing practice in lifelong management and support of patients and their families\nPhysiotherapy management for muscle bleeds.\n\n\nManagement of haemophilia- Home and Hospital. \nNurses’ role\nPrinciples of knee flexion deformity management.\n\n\nPrinciples of Factor replacement\nPain management\n\n\nModels and delivery of prophylaxis in haemophilia\nMSK Case Presentation: Assessment & Management- Team Based\n\n\nRecognition\, diagnosis and management of inhibitors\n\n\nSummary of successes and challenges in comprehensive care: Registrants comments\n\n\n\nIf you are a health care provider\, involved with the care of haemophilia and/or wish to learn and share about the care of haemophilia\, kindly register and participate in the workshop.  \n \n \n  \n  \n  \nContact us:\nEducation and Training Committee\nAHAD-AP\net@ahadap.org\nwww.ahadap.org
